Just did the y8 swap back in my 98 ex. It starts up just fine but has an idle problem. It surges up and down really fast. It has the IAC code 14. I'm using the P2P ECU and I also have an OBD2 P72 I've been trying to see if it runs any better. I noticed it's a complete y8 swap with obd2...

Are the 92-95 and 96-00 rear T brackets the same? I have a D16y8 im putting back in my 97 ex coupe and I can't get the drivers side mount to line up, I'm using the 92-95 T bracket but if they're different then that must be the prob.

yeah there is a hole so that answers that question but what about the rear t bracket are EGs and EKs interchangeable?

I will probably just piece together a brake kit with some larger flat surface rotors maybe 11" and some bigger calipers. I wonder if brembo or other name brand brake companies just sell the caliper.

Will I be able to fit a decent brake upgrade kit on my eg hatch if i went with 15x6.5s? If not I'll have to go with 16s, but I like 15s because I was going to go with the bf goodrich drag radials and I dont see them making 16" tires i only see Nitto and mickey thompsons in 16s.

I would need to upgrade the braking system for my turbo none of it would be for show. I think I am just going to do the rear discs from a civic at the junkyard and run new lines. Probably upgrade the 4 rotors to 11" or whatever fits inside of a 15" wheel and some bigger calipers maybe those...
