I think im going to b20 swap my 94 teg and rebuild the b18 and make a bike carb'd intake for it and put it in the 79
Good luck trying to stuff a B series into it. It's gonna be too wide unless you cut off the front end and make a custom tube frame for it.

It's the width that will kill you not to mention you'd have to go in from the bottom along with getting a single channel crank pulley for it just for space. Even with all of that you still have to do a lot of massaging and cutting to get the engine to fit correctly. It can be done but I don't think it's worth the effort over a D series. Not to mention the car came stock with like 50-60hp so a bump to over 100hp is going to be crazy. There's no easy way to get suspension and brake parts for these older cars to handle a huge increase over stock power like a B series at 130-200hp either.

Yea your right I forgot the space difference going single cam to b18 ls in my ef hatch, back to d16a6 it is ! And by the way the stroked/cammed 1.3 in it made 109 dyno proven hp in 1993 lol made 59hp stock

That's a sexy looking carb.
Thanks I am very happy with it thus far, prob not firing it up till sunday, I took the old cracked radiator out to put back in a full aluminum one (put the first one in a 96 coupe that had a cracked radiator when I got it) , and took out a bunch of half ass wiring I did a few years ago to repace it with clean correctly done stuff
