drill a small hole in the new cap close to where the old coild use to sit. Be sure to zip tie your wires away from the rotor button.

tap into the black/yellow wire outside the dizzy for your positive, then go inside and remove your stock coil and connect to the negative side wire (white I think) and run it outside through the cap and over to your new coil.

I don't know. the car was manufactured in feb of 88. the harness for the engine mactches that of an 89 teg d16. the b18a1 will not plug in to the factory crx harness. i will try to swap harnesses, thank you for the info.

:D ok, figured it all out. i had no fire because the fuel pump/ecu fuse in the dask was blown. i finally realized the ecu wasn't getting power nor was the fuel pump coming on. car runs like it did again. thanx for your help!!!

sorry bout the caps. OK, here is what I got. I tested my pickups in the distro and have good pulses out to ECU. Do not have signal back to ignitor. I have tried wiring with and without MSD. Is there any sensors that could have come loose causing the ECU not to fire the coil?
