    Turbo b16 question

Exactly, and it's not really how much boost can it handle it's more like how much power can it safely handle. 12psi isn't what destroys the motor, crappy tuning does.

    What do you have?

Semi-built b18c1 (golden eagle sleeves, wiseco pistons, eagle rods, etc) Garrett t3t40E .57 trim .63 A/R for now. I havent run it yet since the build. I ran this turbo set-up on my old b16a (see sig) and it spooled about 2,100rpm and had full boost just over 4k rpm.....(4,500rpm)...10.2:1...

    LSVTEC ARP bolt HELP!??!

I believe they are talking about the small end of the rod (wrist pin). Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the ls has a smaller wrist pin (part that connects to the piston) so the ls rods need to be machined to accept the larger wrist pin from the b16 pistons.....I'm not 100% sure on...

    h22a turbo

They seem like a good alternative to sleeving... Check into Mahle pistons..... The stock pistons arn't good for boost because the top ringland is thin due to the top ring being pushed up higher on the pistons (by design).....the slightest bit of detonation can crack that, and usually does...

    Turbo charging my civic EX

Thats if you don't know what your doing.......I wouldn't buy any e-bay kits.....they are garbage to begin with... For this guy with his knowledge I would recomend a pre-fabbed kit. There is nothing wrong with greddy kits or edelbrock, except for the cost....I have less then $3,500 into my...

    Turbo charging my civic EX

Thats probably the best and cheapest route (plus you are getting only the parts you need and of good quality) but I'm not sure this guy has the knowledge to build his own....I recomend that you do a lot of research before you buy a pre-fabbed kit or build your own.....I personally wouldn't buy a...

    DOHC ARP Headstuds Install Tip

Thats a good idea, I just put the nut on a screw driver, placed the nut on the top of the stud, lubed it and let it drop....works if you don't have a magnet handy

I could use some suggestions for b18a1 rebuild for turbo setup

Eagle rods and probably srp pistons is your best bet....for a little more I would recomend wiseco pistons though......I really like mine... I would recomend either gsr or itr (99+) cams ....or just stick with the b16a cams...they all work good with boost... I haven't dug into my head yet so I...
