well i got an 89 si motor sitting here i picked up, guy said just had high mileage but no issues, you think itd be easier just to swap that in instead of fixing the dx engine? thanx...

car is smoking, cant really tell if its blue or not and doesnt smell sweet, didnt open valve cover yet to see if oil and coolant mixed. one spark plug is covered in oil on the bottom but the others are fine. you guys think rings or head gasket? thanx.

got an 89 dx going to be doing mpfi conversion to run si motor thats in, later going to be a d16z6 and want to use the z6 ecu instead of getting vtec controller, now if i use an obd0-obd1 conv harness like from www.jkobdconversionharness.com do i still need th harness from the z6 motor or would...

if you wanted to keep it dpfi and just use the dx ecu for right now couldnt i just used the dx intake mani and dizzy on it ? just asking cos i just got an si motor also for my broek down 89 dx and dont have time to do mpfi right now...thanx.

ya i found a 95 dx engine real good price local but just dont know if i can use my mounts, ecu and what not.....thanx tho...

ok, im looking at just using the d16z6 ecu cos i found a hatch dx for cheap....with using the conversion harness what exactly will have to be done? i read the how-to install but it really doesnt give much info on using the vtec ecu...

all-motor daily driver, was looking at skunk 2 intake manifold and cam, upgrade rods and pistons and of course i/h/e....by the way how much hp does the zc vtec have, jackson racing says 105.9 at the wheels...
