    out of control!!!!!

Great! Let us know how it worked out. Wouldn't it be way cool if all you needed was a rad cap? I can't believe your in CO. I was just using that as an example. And maybe a poor one at that. What's the boiling point of water there? Sure is a great part of the country!

    out of control!!!!!

If its not flowing or circulating I'd say its definately a water pump. With the radiator cap off, and the car idling, you should be able to tell when the t-stat opens by looking into the filler neck and watching the water level change as the water circulates from the engine to the rad, and the...

    out of control!!!!!

What is your temp gauge reading while all this is going on? Have you verified that your water pump is working correctly? Definately make sure your thermostat is good.

    No Clutch Pedal no pressure

Couple of quick questions. I didn't see how this thread began or the info contained therein. So here goes..... 1. Did this tranny and clutch combo EVER work properly for you? 2. If it did, when did you start having problems, before or after some mod or work done? 3. Does your clutch work...

    No Clutch Pedal no pressure

To bleed the master you have to remove the hard line coming off it. Meaning the line that goes to your slave. Any decent auto parts store should have a master cylinder bleeding kit. The kit is just some rubber tubing and a couple different size nipples..hehe..that screw into the master where...

    No Clutch Pedal no pressure

Its only going to take a few minutes to bleed it. If air is your problem, you'll know shortly. Try and bleed it at the slave and see if it makes any difference. If there is an improvement, you'll know you're on the right track. Just remember to keep the reservoir full during the bleed...

    No Clutch Pedal no pressure

DEFINATELY what JDMilan says....Get a manual!!!! Any manual!!! If any of this sounds strange or is confusing, you need a book. If you don't know what you're doing, you need a book. Otherwise its hit and miss. Probably more miss than hit. Do some readin, learn the procedure, understand the...

    No Clutch Pedal no pressure

Yes, there is air in the reservoir. But, there cant be air in the piston or cylinder part of the master or it won't work right....right?

    No Clutch Pedal no pressure

I forgot to mention in my previous post....the best thing about reverse bleeding is it also bleeds or forces any air from the master cylinder as well. If there is air in the master cylinder you can pump the pedal til the cows come home and you wont get the air out. MXDesa is correct....you...

    No Clutch Pedal no pressure

The slave cylinder does not have a "one way valve". Its just a bleeder screw, like any other. If you don't bleed it properly (like brake bleeding and not like someone suggested in this forum) you're goin NOWHERE fast. All you're gonna do is suck a bunch of air into your hydraulic clutch...

    doh! I made the news

What's so "retarded" about that?!! It's about time people started to take some responsibility for whats happening in our schools, on out streets, to our lives. IMHO the girls should have stomped his brains out. The only good sexual predator is a dead sexual predator. Nothin' like some good...

i got screwed and i need help

I dunno......the original post was pretty clear, to me anyway. The dude didn't say ANYTHING about wanting to sell the shell (body??). He just asked about parting out the motor and what would be good prices or how to best go about it. That hothead who "drives a phone or a kiddie computer"...

    Transmission Problems

Checked out yer pics....nice ride! One question, though, why don't you yank out that funky power steering reservoir and associated pump, hoses, belt, etc., and leave 'em on the garage floor? Took mine out of my '92 Civic. Shaved off a little weight, freed up some hp(or fractions thereof) and...

    Transmission Problems

Sounds like tranny rebuild time. You could probably find a used trans for less than it would cost to rebuild yours, though. The choice is yours. One things for sure, something in your trans has gone away and its gotta come out of the car to fix it.

    helms manual

Can anyone recommend a source for locating a Helms Manual? New or used. I need one for a '92 Civic LX. Do these manuals cover multiple years and models? Or, are they specific for just one model/yr? What should I expect to pay for one? Obviously, I've never seen one. Are all systems included...

    Clutch

While you don't mention the type of vehicle, engine, hp, mods, driving style, etc., etc., there are some basic guide lines I like to follow whenever I'm into a clutch. "while you're in there", replace EVERYTHING that can be replaced. You don't want to have to go back in there next week cause...

    gear lube?

Recently, after putting a new "Clutchmasters Stage 1" clutch in my '92Civic, I went to my trusty manual to reference the correct amount of gear lube(hypoid oil) to add to my transmission. I was surprised when it specified "engine oil" for transmission lubrication as opposed to gear lube! Does...

    wadda ya mean?

who decides what a real question is? I've asked a couple of, what I thought were, real questions over the past week and have received 0 responses. Maybe you should post some "real question" guidelines?
