To bleed the master you have to remove the hard line coming off it. Meaning the line that goes to your slave. Any decent auto parts store should have a master cylinder bleeding kit. The kit is just some rubber tubing and a couple different size nipples..hehe..that screw into the master where...

Its only going to take a few minutes to bleed it. If air is your problem, you'll know shortly. Try and bleed it at the slave and see if it makes any difference. If there is an improvement, you'll know you're on the right track. Just remember to keep the reservoir full during the bleed...

Sounds like tranny rebuild time. You could probably find a used trans for less than it would cost to rebuild yours, though. The choice is yours. One things for sure, something in your trans has gone away and its gotta come out of the car to fix it.
