ive had that happen plenty of times...i can recally driving down rt 46 and having that happen...check all the vacume lines and even check your sensors...i had a sensor fall out once and the idle bounced
ive build 3 ls vtecs over the past year...and i seem to like the hydro ls tranny...the gears are alot longer...ive found that when people with b16 trannys and so on are shifting im still in the same gear...dont get me wrong there gonna pull on you but the gearing is awesome on ls and the long...
ls/vtecs are good motors...ive had 3 so far...and i ran all of mine all motor...but u said your looking towards going turbo...i know a kid that has a turbo ls/vtec and that thing halls ass...but im more into the nitrous....just do your self a favor and get your computer chipped...just make sure...
it is possible to swap distrubitors....the differences would be the plugs....and the mounting posts...we did one on my buddies crx and he had to file out the insides of the posts to make it fit...sometimes only 1 post will line up ...and i wouldnt recomend using only 1 bold to hold on the...
actually there was a d series motor that came with a secondary vtec solinoid....on of my friends has it in his crx....the motor isnt too bad but i dont really know 2 much about it....
i put a gsr motor in my 94 del sol..and im currently running a p28 computer...but i have one problem...i keep frying the distrubitors....i thought maby beacuse i have ctr pistons and cams the stock distrubitor wasnt enough so i got a msd...but it still blew...i need help
