nevermind i got it working... the jackass who sold me the wiring harness had the #4 injector cut... but now i have a high idle problem!!!

in all actuallity it will be a lot easier to use your stock harness and run all the wires and plugs you need... your 97 DX is OBD2a and the 99-00 Si is OBD2b... i tried using the 00Si harness and Ecu in my 98 Ex with my B16A, but my gauge cluster and Vtec didn't work...

nevermind,... i figured it out... on the EX harness the O2 sensor is on the front of the header and on the B16A it's on the end of the header... so the O2 plug was coming out the front of the harness and not the rear... i just extended the wires... thanks guys!!!

ok... i really hope i can get some answers on this... i put the JDM B16A (OBD2a) motor into my 98 Civic EX a while ago with the 00 Si harness and 00 Si P2T ECU, but that wasn't workin right so i put a 96 EX harness and P72 Ecu into my car cause people said it was what i was supposed to use in...

i just bought a 96 EX wiring harness to use with my B16A swap (obd2a)... the plugs for the o2 sensor does not match up... i need to know what to do!!!

the EX harness will not plug into the Si ECU... plus... the 98 EX is OBD2a and the 99-00 Si is OBD2b...

i did the JDM SiR 2 motor in my 98 Civic Ex... since the motor is OBD2 and your car is OBD1... you'll need to get the OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness assuming you are getting the OBD2 ecu and harness... the car will most likely not pass emissions... i did this swap back in february and i am...

i ripped out my ecu today and to find out what kind it is... the numbers on it read-> 37820- P2T- A11 1170- 120484 wtf is a P2T???? should i have a p72???? btw i have a obd2 B16a!!!

i did a B16A into my 98 Ex... i had to get the rear motor mount and i used axles from a 97 del sol vtec...

and........... doesn't the ecy have to match up with the distibutor???? don't they both have to be obd2 or obd1???

how hard is it to convert to an OBD1??? and how do i go about doing it???? and will i still be able to use my gauge cluster, or do i need ot get a new one?
