yeah i plan on going to 2.0 either that or 1.8 crank, rods, and high comp pistons.
i'm looking for a 92 up hb shell b/c the motor is in a 93 teg right now and it's just heavy. i'm looking to break 12's with the motor when it's done.
anyone have a shell? i'll trade the teg shell if anyone wants it.
yeah i was talking about the 95 up...i was saying that it's better but idk what they were talking about lol just arguing.
i was thinking doing the 1.8 crank, rods, and pistons with a high comp gasket to seal things off. should i just go 2.0?
what kind of power?
i have a 93 and grinds if you slam into third while driving hard.
i think it's normal for the 92-93 gsr tranny's, at least thats what everyone says it sucks though.
rebuilding the tranny couldn't hurt at all.
good luck
i have a 93 gsr and i just cut my shifter to make it more comfortable when driving it.
it doesn't do anything for speed it's just comfy not to have to have your arm high up and move as far.
well the gsr head is also a pr3 so i'll look at wich one it is.
can i sleeve it to 2.0 or is that to much for that block? should i just get a new gsr swap?
thanks
will a 95 up b18c1 gsr head fit on the b17a1 bottom end? what do i have to do to do it? i also wanted to know about stroker kits or anything else i can do to add some power. can i sleeve it to 2.0 or 1.8?
is it worth doing or should i just get a b18c swap?
thanks for the help
it's on a b17a1 bottom end and i dont remember about the pr3 head. i dont know what it's off of or anything. i meant is it better than the stock b17a1 gsr head or not?
thanks
yes you can use the air. get some hcp mounts and you'll be fine. the hcp mounts are the best fit that i've seen and there is tons of room for the air up front. i'm getting ready to do the same in my eg hatch so i've looked into the details and know peope with the setup. i'm going to do air also...
