my m3 had a cheater parking brake rotor/caliper.
it sucked. couldn't yank it to initiate drifts. wasn't strong enough. lol

Sometimes, you just need to grab the f'in e-brake. even pro drifters have it set up with the big as wang lever.

anyways, broke 10K on the veloster since picking it up early june.

sometime this week going to have my buddy put a new IM gasket on it. leaking like a sieve, bad idle and no brake pressure. VIDEOOOOO!

wow, that was a quick 10k. I'm just shy of 22 on genny now. and i've had it 3 years longer than you. lol

i loooove to drive this car. i find excuses to drive it, even if its just to the store. the only time we take the elantra out over it, is in heavy rains  i dont want mud on my light grey seats.

:p

78k on the truck now, bought it at 48k almost 2 years ago... and 80k on the Mazda (52k last year), 100k in one tank on the S2k.

I have 43k on my cr-z now. The first trip over 50 miles I took in it was to meet up with Chris over his birthday.

theres nothing like a brand new car. a car that you know has had your ass in it 99.999999 percent of the time.

Changed the IM gasket on the Elantra.

took about 2 hours. used copper gasket spray after i cleaned the mating surfaces with brake parts cleaner. purrs like a kitten. reset the codes for idle air controller and cyl2 misfire hopefully they do not come back.

apparently it is common for the gasket to break between #2 and #3

there are 2 long brackets holding the manifold to the block, i removed one of the brackets. the service manual wants you to jack up the car and loosen the bottom 2 bolts for the brackets. i unbolted them from the manifold and bent them out of the way. probably saved me about 20 minutes.

i hardly feel duped. i can break 40mpg no problem. my all time high is 42.x mpg. i average 34mpg driving the car like an asshole.

but still, the compensation will be nice. almost half a car payment a year
