This weekend we went to Carlisle P&S for one of the biggest Hyundai events on the east coast. It was a 3 days event and lots of fun! Met lots of nice new friends and got to show off the VT's skills a bit. total trip mileage was ~750 miles.
we had all this packed into the car. 4 wheels/tires, 10x10 canopy, 2 fold-up chairs, aluminum racing jack, 3 small toolboxes, detailing supplies. also 3 duffel bags. on the way back we had 2 full cases of beer (bottles). i could still see out the back window.

nicoclub autox photos. i placed 3rd out of all the drivers.
and then... unexpectedly i placed 2nd in the "asian open" category! consisting of velosters, elantras, and other asian cars with no actual classing. the red one got 1st, the black one was 3rd. all of us named chris. my first show trophy ever.
ended up receiving this carbon fiber overlay for the filler door. a nice girl won it in a raffle, but she doesn't drive a veloster and i had my hand up first for it when she was giving it away. its like a frisbee.....cheap. decided i am going to start making my own carbon fiber parts this summer.
