96 Honda Accord EX radio code

Can anybody help me here. My daughter bought a 96 Accord Ex (3rd owner). Been sitting for 2 yrs. Needed battery and trans work. I did trans work and put in new battery. Radio says it needs code. Honda won't help because we don't hacve original owner info, says we might have stolen it. Where can I get radio code info? Checked prescribed places for code sticker, no luck.
