'99 b16a2 into a 97 cx civic

My first post yes... Hello everyone!

Ok, I searched and searched found a lot of answers , but now I'm really messed up lol

Here we go...

I have my stock cx wiring harness (no vtec)
I want to get a p28 ecu (get it chipped)
I want to get a obd2a to obd1 conversion harness

Now, from what I understand, I need to plug all that together and ...

• pass my vtec wire from the ECU to the Solenoid
• pass a wire from the ecu to the knock sensor

Where I'm not sure.. is what do I do with the IACV wiring ? From 3 pin to 2 pin ?

Please correct me if I'm wrong anywhere ! First time doing the swap and I don't want to go wrong anywhere.

yours are both obd2 you need to convert from odb2a, to obd2b

Yeah I'm aware that both are obd2 , but an obd1 ecu(the p28) is perfect with a chip(from skunk2) . Which is why I want to make the obd1 conversion.

From the obd1 ecu I'm not sure what I need to do with the wiring (vtec / knock sensor / IACV )
