I am new to this room so take it easy on me. I just purchased a 94 B18C1 swap
for my 94 Civic. When I check compression on this engine when I get it. What are good readings to let me know if the engine is in good shape. Also if it is marginal would you recommend putting is new forged pistons and rods, rings etc. or type r pistons. I am trying to put together a good engine without breaking the bank. This motor already has a skunk 2 cam not sure what stage and an adjustable cam gear. This swap also came with a lsd tranny. This motor also has a Skunk 2 intake. If I decide to bore it, can you safely bore .040 that would make it 82mm if I am correct. I would appreciate anyone expertise or advise.
