Beater needed in CT

I need a beater car or truck asap. It must run or need something minor to get running. I do not want to take my truck often to my new job since my wheels have a good chance of getting jacked.
What I want, preferably rwd or 4wd. Must be standard unless its something worth driving an auto. Under 1500.
Regular cab short bed s10 or ranger. Pref 2wd
S10 Blazer
Jeep Cherokee, cj or Wrangler (I know long shot on that)
CRX
Rat Rod
72 or prior chevy or gmc fullsize
If there is something not on the list let me know maybe I'll go for it.
