ok so the kid that had my car before me put a 7.5lb Fidanza flywheel in it, its not bad & I got used to it pretty quick but now with the blower it still wants to bog off the line pretty bad until the boost kicks in and then it starts pulling. Looking to put some more tq back down low since the boost gives me plenty up top. The car is a 2000 Civic Si with the stock B16 for now but I'm planning on going with a GSR bottom end and I figure I might as well swap the flywheel while I'm in there. The only reason I'm undecided is I kinda like the faster revs for matching/heeltoe/etc, and it seems easier to feather than a full weight stock flywheel. But I know a full weight piece will give a little more balls off the line Just trying to decide whether I should go back to a stock 18-20lb piece or if the ITR would be a good compromise... opinions/anybody have experience with either ie- compared both back to back? what's generally better for boosted applications?
