Improperly torquing the pressure plate can warp it and also result in the bolts not being torqued down correctly(in other words; under-torqued causing the bolt to back out)

No problem... They could of tighten it down crooked and smashed the plate, or something in that field..
 
alright do u think even with that maybe being the issue, that the clutch might still be good or would i have to get a new one?

That's very possible but they should have noticed that from the start.

You won't know if you need a new one until they open it up. If it's damaged, make them buy you a new one. It was negligence on their part, not yours.
