If you plan on better camshafts or head work or anything big......a quality header will have better gains with these things in place.
But if its basic build and you don't plan on going bigger/better.....any tri-y will get you there for a decent price.
Although I know some guys run into install problems with ebay overseas rip off headers (copies).
I have seen pictures of installs (rip off headers) where the collector is pointing up instead of parallel with the chassis.
This is a problem that can be fixed with some heat but why go through the trouble?
I personally had a rip off DC that lasted 6-7years before the welds gave and it fitted "okay".
I had to use gasket sealer to get the two pieces to not leak but, other than that, it worked out well.
I currently have a k-swap ASP "group buy" big tube stainless budget header and it was close to $800 delivered.
It fit like a charm and has no leaking issues (spring clamps).
Most ASP headers are custom made and cost roughly $1200 (they make B and I think D headers)

I am all for keeping money in the hands of Americans (we need all we can get lol)
Many overseas are ripping off copies of good headers that went through a considerable amount of R&D....kinda pisses me off.
