Blue smoke is buring oil which could be caused by any number of things.
White smoke is burning coolant, head gasket, cracked head/block.
    Black smoke is running rich.

Run about half a can of seafoam through a vacuum line on the throttle body.
Wait about 10+/- minutes, then go drive it like you stole it. until all the smoke is gone.

^^Thats not going to fix a blown head gasket. If it is smoking white and blue, there is something wrong, and magic snake oil isnt going to fix it.

hey if its only smoking in the high rpm range then its more than likely your vtec system. my buddy has that prob but i cant remember what he said. a burnt valve or something. good luck to ya tho.

lol, wow, I would just ignore most of these posts. Burnt valve would cause some other issues, like running on 3 cylinders...

Sounds like a head gasket to me. How's your coolant level, is it going down, and are you getting any bubbles in it when you take off the cap? Check the oil too, is it milky? Milky oil is a sign that water has mixed in with the oil.

If it's really bad you can actually blow your motor by getting too much coolant mixed in with the oil. A compression and leakdown will give you more insight into the actual issue.

efhondakid has it right, blue=oil white=coolant

Burning oil is rarly a "serious" problem. Fixing burning oil is where it gets tricky.

Burning coolant on the other had is almost always something serious

Well if it hasent been started in a while, take it for a slow calm drive with a couple of full throttles to work off the old crap that might have built up sitting there, get an oil change and see how it is.

If your head gasket is blown, you would sometimes see a decrease in coolant or oil in coolant or coolant in oil, as the bad gasket will allow water and oil to travel into the other passages as well as the cylinder.

Start up the car and check for the bubbles.

Also, how can you tell if it's burning white if it's also burning blue?
