A new one? I like them, I test drove one... it was nice... didnt handle like the Integra.

Is the engine any different from the 2000 model than the new one? The redline on the new one is set lower.

I don't think so...I think the new edge body style all has one motor...maybe Ji knows??

Yeah they handle better than an Integra, I watch a hand full of integra's get their asses handed to them at an auto-x by a couple new Celicas. Both of the Celicas were lowered on stock shocks and they used Eibach lowering springs. I knew one of the celica owners and it was his third auto-x, and some of the integras I have seen there were people that I have seen at almost all the auto-x's I have been to.

The new Celicas are in fact one of the best handling FWD sport compacts on the market today. Period.

For 24k They better be good at something damnit.

thanks guys driverunknown your right about 2001+ models having a lower redline
that was one of the things i had concerns about people ive talked to said that you can bend the valves easy from over reving on the 2000 celicas
