Im going to send me p28 ecu off to get chipped for a jdm itr. Does anbody have any suggestions on some good specs, like when should vtec kick in, rev limiter, etc...

If you have a stock engine I suggest making sure the ecu chipper set's your redline to around 8800, because at 9k you get valve float.

VTEC, have it set around 5300.

i would agree w/ the 8800 rev limiter.
as far as the VTEC point... 5300-5500 would probably be just fine.
do you plan on running a VAFC or other type of controller at all eventually?

it will def. help and not hurt. then you can fiddle w/ the VTEC x over and find one that is suitable

probly a stupid question, but what do u mean by 'where the two torque curves cross'?.....isn't there only one curve on a dyno chart?....please enlighten me

set the vtec crossover to 8K and make a dyno run.
then set it to 3K and make a dyno run

wherever the 2 curves meet will net you the most area under the TQ curve.
