Just curious, but if you planned on switching to manual, why did you buy an automatic in the first place? If I had an automatic I'd drop it like it's hot and sell it, then use that money to buy a car just like it except with a manual tranny.

Post some pics of it. I have basically the same exact car except it's a dx and it's a manual.
PIC Apex's coming in the mail soon.
    B18c1 swap coming this summer!

Sedans ftw! Gotta love being able to pack people in without having to get out of the car first.

Maybe he got a good deal on his EG like I did on my EK. The Godfather himself wouldn't have refused pay what I paid for my EK.

Very good point there. But that is why I tried to ask nicely, I was mainly just curious because I know the auto to manual swap is expensive.

Oh and this is the wrong forum. If you're lucky the mods will move it, if not they'll lock it. Next time read the thread descriptions before posting ;)

I came back to remind him of that too. haha!

I'm going through that right now, as my EK was an automatic. That's a story for either my own or a different thread though.

I got a 4 door too! but I am gonna rip out my back seat so I don't have to pack people in anymore. lol As for your car eagle h-beam rods, arp rod bolts, and if you plan on going with boost go with the viatara pistons, and if not find some higher compression pistons. I would say get some new cams, cam gear, and valve train. That will up the power a bit.

Save up and swap a B-series into it and run some boost on it, or if you have a really big wallet H-series that puppy. BTW I'm rockin a 94' DX fodo auto as my DD.

My bad I didnt see that.
    :imfucktard:
Then just boost the D, they can pretty make good numbers with the right parts and a good tune and like said before there is tons of info on this site on what to do what not to do, so on and so forth.

this is a tech question, you posted it in the loung. which specifically says no tech questions.

you should have a mod move it before it gets locked.

I agree with his post about getting a mod to move it. but as for the boost that is where those vitara pistons come in handy, the aftermarket vitara pistons are coated in a metal that makes them more durable. They drop the compression in a d-series motor. Not sure how much check my thread d16y8 n/a build they talk about them in there
