just got a b18c1 block and wanted to start a new build. looking for around 200-220whp and still reliable. Will be building it n/a and looking between 11.5:1 and 12:1 compression. Did a lot of research and seems that the ls crank and rods would help but I already have a type-r crank, oil pump, and head with sk2stg3 cams from previous build. really want to build motor with those parts to keep cost low. Is it possible to reach goal? if so what type of pistons and rods would help with compression ratio. NO CTR'S!!!

I would advise against going N/A, but if thats the route you want to go thats your choice, then go for it. As far as pistons your going to have to go after market for that CR.

You have a 1.8 litre four cylindar, thats why.
You could build your motor for boost, easily make 250 to the wheels, and still have extra money as compared to going the all motor route. Thats just my $0.02.
