that helps thanks.thats just how mine is.my ecu is blinking 8 times tdc.and everywhere i have read says that its more than likely a wireing problem.i followed the instructions from zcspeed to the T (dx std to zc swap).i have ran down every wire.

when i did my wiring i had the same problem. the ecu was giving code 8. the dizzy plug was right but the harness at the ecu was wrong. I plugged the wires in 8 and 10. the needed to be in 10 and 12. stopped throwing code and runs like a champ.
