Yeah, you know, some people think they are being cheap but it usually turns out expensive at the end. Either that or he could not pass the inspection and that is why he was going up there to get another car or truck (I forget) to get some parts off of it.

took me about 1hr 30mins to pull my d15 outta my hatch.

Tomorrow morning im getting a new clutch from advance auto parts and im dropping the d16 into the hatch. that shit already has a new water pump and timing belt. id like to put in a heavy duty headgasket.

Im usin my tranny i had in the car from the auto to manual conversion. its 5 speed but how do i find out what tranny is is? for all i know its a si tranny.

What's your engine speed in second gear going 20 mph? I'll compare it to my tranny for you.

lol i dont know... i gotta get the d16 in and running first. id imagine it would be pretty damn low rpms.

ohh im also getting a set of those old 4 lug bmw rims for it. they are so light it feels like they are plastic when you pick them up.
