Still waiting on the new 5857 to arrive. Did manage to get the new Edelbrock Performer X Manfifold on, replaced the beat Skunk2 mani. Cleaned out my IACV, PCV box, and got new coolant and vacuum lines ran. Soon as the car is running again, its off to the dyno to see what i can make ;D

Also:

Got a 8/10 set of GSR rear leathers for 50$ and installed them.

Ordered OEM mudflaps and window visors. Waiting for them to get here as well.

The car has been on stands for the past two weeks, as i let the new goodies come in.

Ill get pics up of everything soon as im near my phone, all my pictures are on it. :D

Still no turbo, but got some pics up.

Well I've spent the day cleaning everything up, getting hoses ran, fixing leaks. Tomorrow I'm getting all new fluids and gaskets for the turbo.

and Saturday should be assembly day, all my charge piping should be done by Monday.

update: I called my tuner, I emailed him my setup and he's mailing out a base tune for me so I can drive the car safely to his shop. Doing this right, this time.

Have you included the required 12 hours of "god damn it, where did this go?" work on the car?

No, because there weren't any problems, but I appreciate the positive feedback Doug.

I hope so. Every time I work on a non-factory turbo car, something else is wrong with it. Always plan for the worst with a modified car.

I'd just hate to see you post "Can anyone give me a ride to work?" on FB.

Truth. My Civic has a way of breaking shit that I thought couldn't possibly break. That's why I have my Accords. :)

I'm aware that working on a car like this, something always is wrong while you fix something else. The car has been down for 2 weeks and I've used this time to cover almost everything I can, tweaking, fixing, replacing gaskets and seals etc to limit any problems on start-up. This is my last tune on this setup, after this I'm gonna work on getting a beater and to start a completely new setup. i wanna see if she'll hit 400whp, but I plan to dial it back to about 340-350 for daily use.

Got all my fluids, gaskets and oil filter today. Picked up a mishimoto sandwhich plate for my oil filter, now I can run a more accurate oil pressure gauge to keep things monitored.

Piping is still under construction, and once it's all installed, the task of fabbing a filter to fit the turbo begins.

And so it begins. Let's hope everything bolts up with no issues.

Took a couple hours to get together.

Just waiting on the last piece of my charge piping to come in and my gauges ran, we can try to turn it over.

Hopefully my base map will be in soon.

She's getting there.
Got the front mudflaps on, need more hardware for the rear ones. Also got back half my charge piping, other section should be back tomorrow.

In process of finishing installing the oil send line for the oil gauge.

More update tomorrow.
