They are just not as durable when you start making power. Rock stock, they are fine. But they just cannot take a beating. The few running them professionally are not using the lude' tranny. Benson has been working on an adapter plate to make a GSR tranny to a H22 block because of this. When I started out and worked for Honda, the Prelude's were getting pulled often-whereas I have never pulled out a B series tranny for the same failures. Not to say that a B won't fail, but I have seen them take unmerciful turbocharged drag launching abuse and keep taking it where as an H22 will give up the ghost with merely NA street driving faster.
