ok this is what ive done it a d16z6 obd1 in a 91 honda civic
i have a p28 ecu
i have a jumper harness with vetc and o2
i used obd0 harness
the car will start but will rev up to 3000 rpm then stall
its throwing code 4 and 5 which are crank and map
im so lost as what to do
if anyone can help it would be great and please dont reffer me to a search there are so many i cant find my way around

it sounds to me like a vacuum leak, yourmap sensor runs off of vaccum's,,you might have some of the hoses mixed up

on the firewall, right behind the intake manifold, here are these little solenoidlooking things,,its the one with the electrical connection coming out,i believe the one all the way leftif your looking from the front of the car

the dizzy is new not to say its no good but
can i just and the obd plug to the existing map sensor and use the one on the z6

well the map sensor is hooked up but now it wont start

OBD0 to OBD1 Distributor Wiring
OBD0 (Harness Side) OBD1 OEM Dist.(Distributor Side)
Blue w/Green Stripe-- Orange*
Blue w/Yellow Stripe --White*
Orange w/Blue Stripe --Orange w/Blue Stripe
White w/Blue Stripe --White w/Blue Stripe
Orange --Blue w/Green Stripe
Thin White-- Blue w/Yellow Stripe
Thick White** --Yellow w/Green Stripe

*Note 1: On some aftermarket OBD1 distributors, the Orange and the White wire are swapped.

**Note 2: If you confuse the two OBD0 white wires, the car will not start and could cause ignitor failure!

these are the following dizzy instuction i have are they correct

you mean the check engine light???
you do ignition timing by just rotating the dizzy forward or backward

the white wires are different in size so im sure i didn't plus it wasn't part of the same bundle of wires the flatter white wire was seperated from the rest
ive ordered a fuel filter the car did sit for almost 2 years before it was given to me so im guessing its worth a try
also im gonna pull the fuel line and crank it over to see if my fuel pump is working

thats what i was afraid of it did it the first couple of time then since it has not
could the filter be pluged causing it not to
also when i open the gas cap it sucks for alot of air
thank again for all the help this is my first import and so far i love it
well i guess not the first i did have a 94 dodge stealth for while what a peice

hey thank i had read that in another thread but they forgot to mention where it was
2.5 hour i spent looking for something under the hood
hahaha im such a noobie

come on i had to ask a buddy at work what a dizzy was
