I prefer a manual in traffic. Having to cover the brake all the time in an auto sucks worse than having to work the clutch a bit.
The article quoted is not of automatics, but of flappy pedal manuals... and there's a huge difference. As above, I said i'd consider it. A true auto, I have no interest in. I hate everything about the way they drive, feel, and downshift 8 seconds after giving it more gas.

The SMG is a terrible gearbox. The DCT in the Evo X is MUCH nicer. The DCT in the E9x M3's are also a dream.I drove the SMG m3, and my buddy had an evo X mr with them. It was ok. I still missed something in control, but the shifts where there when I wanted them, not some machine who can't see what's coming up. Slushboxes can all die in massive metal foundry fires for all I care

The accord sport(practically base but has manual) is actually pretty quick if I recall. Like low 15 second 1/4. Very good looking car to me as well.Thats what really sucks you have to get the smallest engine and the base model to get a man pedal.
