how can motor oil be found in radiator after start up

    my newly rebuilt h22a ran for a couple of minutes and then oil was found in radiator after drainage of antireeeze.the oil level was checked and 1/4 quart of oil was missing.how can oil be found in radiator but not antifreeze when oil was checked??:confused:

    Yeah, prolly headgasket. If you don't know the history of the head. You may want to have it checked for warpage. To save money you could do it yourself just need a straight edge & feeler gauge.
