how can motor oil be found in radiator after start up

my newly rebuilt h22a ran for a couple of minutes and then oil was found in radiator after drainage of antireeeze.the oil level was checked and 1/4 quart of oil was missing.how can oil be found in radiator but not antifreeze when oil was checked??

Yeah, prolly headgasket. If you don't know the history of the head. You may want to have it checked for warpage. To save money you could do it yourself just need a straight edge & feeler gauge.

i agree that it is probably the headgasket, bummer.
