how many gallons of paint will in need

im going to paint my 95 prelude. i was wondering anyone knew how many gallons i would need. i wont be painting the hood or jamms ect. im going to use acrylic enamel and clear thank you.

2-3 quarts primer and all the othe rshit ya need to mix it rgiht, then 2 quarts paint and a galolon of clear and you'll beable to do it good

you don't need a gallon of clear 2 quarts of good clear will be enough for 3-4 coats

Umm I don't know about only 2 quarts of clear.. I would go at least 3 quarts (reduced)
And if you're using single stage paint as basecoat you are going to need to let it dry completely, wetsand it, and then clear it.

i wouldnt even bother trying to paint it without ATLEAST 2 quarts of unmixed clearcoat....if not about the tiem you get 3/4 of the way through your second coat of clear and you run out....your gonna be one pissed off motherfucker

i have never heard of buying a premixed clear either?

no, you cannot buy it already mixed, but there is a difference between a sprayable gallon and just a gallon of clearcoat

i know that but i don't think 40 does. I have seen spryable paint and primer.
