What type bulb, mine were like 3057 dual filament. Please if you do this and they dont get faster dont blame me. It could have been they brand or something. I ordered mine off ebay but this was a few years ago. Just do a search for your bulb (### led bulb). If they dont make it faster blinking they will be hella bright.
I got mine because they were clear leds that would light up orange for the front corner lights. Them blinking faster was just a surprise. I was not buying so they would blink faster just for the led technology. What year is your car? What type bulb? I have heard of cutting the ground wire on your turn lights but that sounds weird. The hyper led bulbs should make them blink faster but dont hold me to it.
There is an actuator that activates turning signals you can either modify you existing one or order a jdm or euro one I belive inside is a spring that you can add tension to for a quicker response but I have never done this and the only car I've seen this done on was a 1986 Oldsmoblie Cutlass, but the actuator dose exist in you car
No my blinkers dont blink to slow, I just like the fast blinkers. I have a 92 civic si and I dont know my bulb size. Well if I take out my reverse light bulbs that dont even work anyway will that make my turn signals faster??
Oh, wow, this thread almost caused my jaded soul to crack a smile on this cold leathery face.
You can find LED turn signal lights at your favorite auto parts store. Usually they have a whole section just for ricers, I've seen these bulbs in there for probably ten bucks a pop, but sometimes they come in pairs.
The main advantage to physically going to the store is that it will be so much easier to return them once you're tired of the effect in a day or two.
So take out one reverse bulb & one turn signal bulb, & match them up inside the store. If you can't figure it out, there should be very friendly counter staff there to assist you. Replacing reverse lamps will allow you to see behind you when backing up. Replacing all four turn signal bulbs w/ LED's will make them blink stupid fast. Try just replacing just the fronts or just the rears.
Of course, since this is a Japanese car, you will need to find a counter-clockwise metric torque wrench to remove & install the bulbs.
