5 inches of mercury

man only 2.4 PSI, so I'm assume there was no need for more power while crusing.

Actually, vacuum is measured in inches of mercury, so I was in vacuum the whole time. 5 in Hg. Going up any sort of hill at all needed at least 5 PSI and there were some hills where I was holding 15 PSI in 4th gear just to maintain 65 MPH. Anyway yeah, those pics E put up are pretty close. When I get my own place and computer back up, I'll have pics.

Eric, as for Rt. 20, it's amazing. The pavement is very porous, so it grips like mad, and is as smooth as Rt. 17. There isn't much in the way of elevation change like Rt. 17, but there's more turns, it's a faster road, more places to pass, and goes for about 35 miles. Unfortunately, it's about 150 miles from me, so I can't just go hit it this afternoon. However, there are plenty of fun roads near me. Most of the fun roads are dirt, but some are paved, and let me make the distinction that most roads around here are paved... but the majority of them are straight.

Silverchild, you're in Albany, right? At some point I'm headed up to the Evergreen Aviation Museum... maybe I'll stop by, eh?

I always get you guys confused, since my pedophile-porn-addled brain can't even function on a third-grade level anymore. :)

i hear you about iowa. I've lived here all my life and haven't found a twisty road. Every highway is flat and in a straight line surrounded by corn. at least i live in the city instead of some little podunk town though.
