shit eg... you're almost over the hill.

I always liked that house. Reminds me of the Farnsworth house in Illinois that was auctioned off for $6.x million.

No doubt, between your side of the state and everyone over here thinking this is freaking "Wine Country" it is getting stupid expensive.

Eh. It's Chicago. My friend went out there for work after college. He already wants to come back because it sucks. And he's an extrovert, he went out looking for the good time he was use to and didn't find it.

Chicago is FN expensive. Cook County has the highest sales tax in the country. Damn near every freeway is a toll route but you wouldn't know by looking at the sad state of the roads. I wont ride the motorcycle on half of them for fear of being thrown off, and the other half for the likelyhood of being run off the road by the fucktard drivers out here.
That said, if you cant find something to do out here you've got to be living in the far west burbs near me. There isn't shit out here but in the city somethings always going on. Especially now that its warming up.

I cant wait til my company goes under so I can go back home. Well actually I'd rather it lasted until the lease is up out here.

Ha! The first thing some friends out here said when I told them I was checking out a Cubs game was "Hey man, make sure you watch out for the cornhole!"

He lives Downtown. I said he couldn't find the good time he was use to having. He told me he is the "craziest" guy at work and his co-workers tell him this ALL the time. In college he was on the upper side of crazy(as was I) but we were by no means the craziest guys around.

I'm not using him as an example that just brought the pros and cons of Chicago to the mind. I dont really go out to the city much I just hear of all the shit going on from co-workers out here. One sweet thing though is you can take a train into town for less than $5 and you can drink on it with no problems. Makes for a great way to pregame especially since parking is at least 15-20 dollars if you get lucky.

You can drink on most trains with no issues. While it is never "allowed", most employees don't care as long as you don't get rowdy or make a mess.

Sorry. Im from ohio, we barely have a bus system. on the el it can get pretty rowdy. At least when packed with a bunch of drunk Cubs fans after a game. Usually hear chants "fuck the Sox!" seamlessly changed to "show your boobs!"
