Don't poop on this thread. If the hatches are too expensive, like they are here, just go for a coupe. no one expects them to be quick. They are however expected to be rice. 
That's why mine is so fun to drive. Only enthusiasts can tell that mine isn't a stocker and not just by the wheels.
