Ive had it for 3 years now only thing I've done was replace 2 valves, seals, head gas kit,and timing belt only because I didnt know when it was changed last. I don't think I got a bad deal lol
Ok update got the H22 in the car running but i'm having a hell of a time with 3 codes and about ready to give up Codes 7, 21, and 23 which are tps sensor wich i bought new but dont mean it cant be bad, Vtec electronic selenoid valve and the last code the knock sensor I also have ideling problems like a serge any help will be appreciated this build will not kick my butt but its close lol
The surge is most likely attributed to the codes that you're finding. Did you change anything in the wiring?
I have not done one of these swaps but from doing some reading you have to alter the Accord's wiring harness or obtain a harness for an H22.
Also, do you have the correct ECU in the car?
how do i post a new thread? I have a 93 accord with a 96 prelude OBD1 jdm f20b with automatic (came with new matching ecu and tcm). Paid a "import specialist shop" to do this and have a few issues cant figure out.
1. no over drive (3200rpm @60mph)
2. shift lock wont release (new brake switch all fuses good)
3. no cruise control (light comes on but steering wheel button wont engage)
4. shift points terrible
They did not use a swap wiring harness but did it their way i guess. Any ideas?
sorry to post here...i have no clue where im supposed to do this.
