I'm running the Nitto Terra Grapplers right now- Discount Tire runs deals quarterly. They do awesome in Texas downpours, are very stable towing 6000 pound trailers at high speed even with the crazy deep tread, and do very well in the sand. I haven't had them in the mud very much, but no complaints so far. You're in Florida so you probably won't care, but they've done extremely well in the 2 weeks of ice and snow we get in Dalals every year. Very predictable.
I've got almost 30k on them and they're not any noisier than when they were installed. I'm guessing I probably have another 30k left in them, and I drive them HARD. High G corners and everything. Bonus- they're pretty lightweight in the non-LT spec. I went from a 30.6" tire on a 16x7 to a 33" on a 17x8.5 and the low weight and tread pattern let me still get the same overall gas mileage both in the city and highway after compensating for the taller gearing. The 285/70-17 is S rated for speed (285/75-16 is not, only Q) so it's rated to run the speeds I carry on the Texas tollway system.
My other choice was the BFG Rugged Terrain (not Rugged Trail, that's the older crappy one) which seems to get very similar usage and praise as the Terra Grapplers. I did consider the Firestone Destination A/T and the Cooper Destination AT3, but both looked like lesser tires compared to the Terra Grapplers and Rugged Terrains for how I wanted to use them. Mostly street with high speed highway, lots of rain, towing, and lots of sand. Some mud/rocks.
