obd2b distributor on obd0 harness

is an obd2b distributor suppose to be able to work on an obd0 wiring harness and an obd1 ecu? the wiring has been done correctly, but the distributor is not firing.

yes a obd 2 dizzy will work with a obd1 ecu if wored properly they are the sameon the inside the only thing diffrent is the plug

I know for a fact the crank flux sensor is not in the obd2 distributor, its actually located on the oil pump.... so... uhm that would be one of the reasons you couldnt use it, unless of course you bought, installed and wired that sensor.

dont take that to the bank, im sure there are other differences as well.

obd2 and obd1 are the same i have a obd2 dizzy on my single cam right noy and it is runing off of a p28 of do you think that all these people with obd2 cars are runing obd2<obd1 adapters and not having to change any thing else
