no update. i don't have the right tool to cut those tabs with... called around for a bit and couldn't find one.. so, i didn't work on it yesterday. watched Chasing Amy instead

Use the cutting disc. That thing owns. It worked like a charm when I had to "finesse" my AEM intake to fit for my swap.
