    Hello,

I just got rear seats shipped from Europe for my '89 CRX. I’m planning on installing them this weekend … it looks like a no-brainer … but I was wandering if anybody has any advice for me before I begin. It looks like I have all the parts that I need.

    Many thanks in advance

Well blanco, remember that CRX's in the states don't come with back seats... so you have to bolt in the mount brackets to install JDM or EDM seats.

    It should be very straightforward.
However, don't some models of rex's come without threaded bolt hole provisions for rear-seat installation? I know I've read that somewhere....

it's a very simple process. should only take 10-20 minutes. i've done it 5 times. you will need to drill two holes for your seat belts. be careful the gas tank is under neath. and don't make the holes to big. everything else is easy. if you want some pics send me a pm with your email and i'll give you some step by step.

maybe i'll even type it up for everyone else. that would be good.

    For Mr. Blanco-

    USDM- no back seats.
    JDM-
    EDM-
    CDM- back seats

    basically
    J, E, and CDM > America.

Actually Canadian CRXs didn't come with back seats either (I live in Canada) .... as far as I know, the only difference between the CDM and USDM CRX is that the Canadian version has a metric speedometer.

Thanks for all the input guys ^_^
