my neighbor has the grant system on his 69 El Camino, and I have seen him in the super market carrying his steering wheel. I think it is a smart thing to do, I just do not see it being race legal. He claims it is a safe system, the wheel is held on super tight, and never comes loose or anything like that. If you live in a high car theft area like we do, it is a good idea to invest in a couple anti-theft devices. He has an alarm system and a detachable wheel. I have a fuel shut off switch, and a alarm. Better safe than sorry.
