Retractable headlight goes up and down continuously. Any idea why?

Hi folks, and thanks for taking time to read my question.

I've got a '91 Prelude 2.0 si. Sometimes, when i turn on the headlights, or just flip the switch to open them up, the driver's side headlight just goes up and down continuously until i turn the lights off.

Anyone have any thoughts on what might be going on?

wow, thats a weird one...

I'm guessing a bad ground somewhere so that it doesn't tell it to stop running the motor, but i really have no idea. This might be a bring it to the dealer question

make sure there is nothing in the path.

my old 240sx would do that if the prop rod for the hood got in its way.

grease up the motor tracks, and light hinges as well.

Good guess, Pissedoff. there was a loose ground.
