They are coming out with a stripped down version of the Evo next year. It will not have a spoiler, will do without a lot of the creature features, weigh less, and have the same power, all for about 27000.

Also, the tail lights swap with the lancer.

The STi is nice, looks alot better but the car just comes up short with handling compared to the EVO

Yeah it's called the Evolution RS. It'll have a helical LSD so it'll feel tighter in the corners. I just read about it last night.

where did you read up about it? lemme know cause id definitely like to read about it... hell i might have to trade my lancer for the new 2004 RS

Page four of the November 10th, 2003 issue of Autoweek. It looks exactly like the EVO VIII but without the goofy wing.

It'll be the ultimate sleeper...I think I may want it...now that I look more at it...

yes the hp/L is better on the Evo, but if we are going into that argument ill just say RX-8...........

For one, The RX8 was overrated by Mazda. It makes 238 hp. and lastly, it maybe 1.3L but if you do it by a four stroke method it's actually 2.6L.

Redo your math.

STi has a bigger engine, but it makes 29 more hp. so it has more power.

i think the lights on the STi are hideous. the bugeyes look better then that.

basically buth of the cars are lacking in the styling department.

if it were me, i would take the engines and put them in a better looking car.

This is a no-brainer. How can anyone even claim the 4G63 is superior to a boxer engine?
