yup yup. Is It totally gone or did they do like kmart and close down a hugh chunk of their chains? Little Caesars was awesome! I'd have to go with Papa Johns now that there's no L.C.s that I know of left..

Ive never had a pizza I didnt think was good. Ive had some NY style pizzas while I was there and they are amazing.

LOL actaully I was born and raised alittle south of Chicago. Mover to the coast at 13. Went to Hawaii for a year and the airforce for a short bit. Then back here on da coast. Tell ya what your missing up there is some good Cajun cooking. Crawfish with a buttload of zatarans. Mmmmmm. Man. Cajun seafood gumbo. Awesome stuff. I remember Garcias Pizza up there to. Its to bad all the good food can't just be everywhere. Not all spread on different ends of the U.S.

Hmmm there's none left where I'm at. But they finally brought some long john silvers around here. Merged them into all the KFC's. Its just a huge suburb down here. Few ship yards. Dozen casinos. Not much else. Lotta doctors n crap. Isn't many employment options. Your eigther a doctor, a gaming dealer, or a pipefitter. Everything else is minimum wage walmart fast food resturant stuff

weighing in on the pizza thing - i had chicago pizza once and had the worst gut ever afterwards. it was soooo damn thick/loaded/rich. and the only nyc pizza i've had might have been sitting out for a while as it was to the point where the cheese was hardened rubber and everything was luke warm on it. i guess i'd try both again. hell it's pizza, it takes a lot to make a shitty pizza.

and...again the ALF makes me grin. he was a funny mofo.

They had about 5,000 locations throughout the mid 90s, but now they're down to about 2,000. Tough times during the late 90s/early 2000s I guess. They're still all over the place in Michigan...

And yes, I remember the giant ass two pizza cardboard box!
