but we say that after any candidate is elected. no matter who wins, we will still bicker and bullshit about how the country is run.

i can definitely agree with you on that one. but of all the women politicians, who else is there, condoleeza rice?

it is still going to be 20 years before a woman/black/mexican is even close to being president.

and shallow as a bird feeder. This week she gave a speech in front of a Black forum about how Dr King's speech changed her life. Unfortunatly for her she wrote all kinds of stuff back in the day saying how she idolized another political figure (who's name escapes me) who was firmly agianst Dr. King's platform

    sorry Hillary but reality>you

    Giuliani (or Ventura) in 08!

Does it matter? Should we solely elect a canidate because they're a minority?

When you were in high school, were the more popular kids elected or were the freaks and geeks?

People vote for those who they can sympathize with, which may include a person of the same general ethnic group.

we should elect on who is best qualified. if a woman/black/mexican was most qualified in 2008, society would not elect them. i'm not prejudice, it's just the truth about society right now. The U.S.A. is not ready for it.

I like alot (but not all) of the stances of both Barak Obama and Ron Paul. If they both end up with their party nominations I'll be happy no matter how the election turns out.
