Don't know if anyone who regularly ships USPS has any input on this, or can guide me in my next step - but heres the situation. Buy X item from forum member on the 22nd of August. Package is shipped out via USPS ground with delivery confirmation and partial tracking on the 23rd from SoCal. Expected delivery date is August 31st. Mind you this is the week before Irene hit. The 31st comes and goes and still no package or update on the USPS tracking website. All the info I get is that the package has been processed for shipping. Given I have the confirmation number and the package is addressed to me - can the postal service actually track this thing down? I'm getting tired of waiting almost two full weeks for a small package to go cross country and I'm worried the item may be lost, damaged or mis-labeled. Input? Does USPS always ship this fucking slow?
