So you don't believe the Mustang magazine simply because it's a mustang magazine. But when other magazines granny shift and treat the car like it's an 88 hp Escort LX automatic, THOSE times are the fastest it can run... <_<

Why on earth would MM&FF.com spout out times that the car couldn't make? That makes absolutely no sense to me and it would do nothing but destroy sales for Ford when one owner takes his car to the track and it runs a whopping 14 second 1/4.

The Mach I has 45 more horses and 30 more ft lb torque, a better shifter and weighs roughly the same, yet its going to turn the same times as the GT? Is that what you really believe?

Mach 1's are low to mid 13 second cars. At Englishtown, perhaps one of the best tracks on the planet, Evan Smith drove the ol Mach 1 to a 13.15, of course they then took an AUTO TransAm and ran 13.13.

I still can't get over homedudes post about running 14.5 or something and "loves seeing first to finish at the bottom of his slips." Funnah I tell ya what.
