does your fuel pump turn on? You can hear in when you turn the key to on (not start). Just so you know. Cause if its not spark its fuel.

hmmm i ve heard of this problem alot. could be a short in your wire harness. or your ignition switch
most people just hook up a push button or push switch to the starter. with the starter in. take a wire and hook it to your positive post on your battery and with the other end, hit it to your starter's remote wire ma thingy (cant remember the name). if it starts fine then theres something with your ignition switch. if you dont understand me. tell me. i ll post pics.

My GFs Sol did the same thing, I ran a wire from the postive on the batery to a switch and cut the black w/ white striped wire on the starter to the same switch. turn the key on, hit the button and it starts. I couldnt figure it out, no blown fuses, starter works, so I just rigged it.:D

My buddies VW did that. We installed a push button start on it and it would fire up every time. He eventually had it fixed, and the shop told him that the wires were shot and it couldn't carry enough current to start the car or something like that.

I figure it has a short in the starter circuit or something to that extent, it was easier to run the switch than break out the multimeter an chase wires.:D
