To inflation, Gasoline should cost $2.40 a gallon, in CT. $2.00 a gallon elsewhere ($2.20 national average). At this point, we're talking about some greedy asshole sonsabitches now.

They even have their hands in alternative powered cars. Look at Hybrids. They are ok with Hybrids because they aren't being shut out - You still need gas.

well the car company's probably have huge interest in the oil market and just dont want to break ties. maybe. anyway, why would they invest in something else that isnt important to them? there are still people willing to buy SUVs and gas guzzlers. Why are all the muscle cars coming back? Because people want them.

I was watching this video from like the early early 80s and the guy was already talking about hybrids and how car companys have the resources to do it, but do only concepts and experiments. never real "going to be made" production models.

someone should build a car that we can just push a button and it cranks up a huge rubber band and shoot us. lol. imagine the g's youd be pulling. just the queue for the rubber band would suck because you'd be doing every 10 secs. 5th grade. i love those days.

yea i heard gas is going to be around 4 bucks a gallon soon too. feck that im going back to diesel...its 2.43 a gallon for diesel fuel at my work(hella cheap)
and i get to drive around a big truck that has 450hp and 900 foot lbs of torque and get 18mpg still.

Gas will not go up hardly as much as the last hurricane caused. The refineries are higher up in elevation than the ones in louisiana. So no refineries were really damaged. :leet:
